Position: Remote Security Architecture Lead

Location:  Remote

Contract: 6 - 12  Months Contract

Must Have Skills:

Strategic leadership and architectural guidance across enterprise security initiatives

Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex security architecture concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proven experience in overseeing and directing security architecture functions

Minimum experience level of Senior Manager; Director-level experience is a plus.

Responsibilities and Job Details:

Lead and shape the security architecture vision and strategy for the organization

Provide architectural oversight to ensure alignment with security standards and business goals

Serve as the primary leader for the Security Architecture team, including oversight of the current Security Architect

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to embed security practices in technology initiatives

Translate high-level security strategies into actionable roadmaps and reference architectures.

Guide security reviews and architectural assessments for major projects and systems

Advise stakeholders on risk management, security policies, and governance frameworks

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements

Identify and address potential security gaps across enterprise systems.

Help mature the organization’s security architecture function as part of a newly built cybersecurity team.

Act as a thought leader, staying abreast of trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity architecture.

Represent security interests during architectural decision-making across business and technology domains
