- Position will support the emerging field of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and support and defend traditional and non-traditional IoT networks. Assist MDOT system engineers and operators implement and manage best practices to secure the evolving intelligent transportation backbone of the Client.
- Evaluate current and future cyber-physical transportation systems and make recommendations for improving the security posture to protect the transportation infrastructure from cyber security threats of all kinds.
- Assist in the selection, development, and implementation of systems and monitoring tools that focus on transport cybersecurity.
- Serve as a clearinghouse for issues as they arise.
Knowledge and skillset requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of experience as a Security Architect or related position is required.
- 3 to 4 years of experience doing .Risk Assessments
- 3 to 4 years of experience working to ensure compliance with security standards.
- 3 to 4 years of experience reviewing settings and configurations on systems and network devices for compliance with best practices.
- 3 to 4 years of experience coordinating and conduction vulnerability scans.
- Knowledge of NIST
- Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems
