SDET Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 
 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and backend applications
   
• Write clear, efficient, and scalable automated test scripts using tools such as Rest Assured, Cypress, Playwright, etc
   
• Conduct thorough API testing and validation using tools and frameworks
   
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
   
• Execute test cases, report bugs, and ensure timely resolution of issues
   
• Perform data validation using SQL queries to ensure backend accuracy
   
• Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and address test gaps proactively
   
• Contribute to performance testing and system reliability efforts as needed
   

Required Skills: 

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
 

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. 
 

Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation. 
 

Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript. 
 

Good understanding and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Protractor. 
 

Strong experience with API testing tools, especially Rest Assured. 
 

3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing of web and backend systems. 
 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
 

Contribute to performance testing and system reliability efforts as needed. 
 

Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and address test gaps proactively.
