Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in a microservices architecture environment.
  • Plan, develop and execute automated test cases and develop modular, robust and maintainable automation scripts in an Agile-Scrum environment.
  • Be an integral member of the core DevOps team.
  • Provide recommendations for implementing industry best practices within software development .

Required Skills

  • Databases:- any one DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of Middleware Kafka is highly desired.
  • Must be strong in SQL, Java, Agile issue tracking, and debugging application environments.
  • Understanding of Restful APIs / Oath is highly desired.
  • Server-side frameworks:- for eg., for Java, good to know Spring Boot and for JavaScript, good to be aware of Node.js.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript.
  • 2-3+ years experience developing automation frameworks from scratch with Selenium Webdriver and Java.
  • Experience with QA Automation tool implementation and prototype creation.
  • Experience working on QTest, Quality Center/HP ALM.
  • Experience with Source Version Control tools like GitHub.
  • Good Experience working with Jenkins.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using one of the following Quality Center, ALM, Git, Cucumber, Version1, confluence.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
