Tech (Qualification) Notes:

• Skillset (top 3-5):

Ability to work autonomously (as only QA assigned to squad)

Strong experience with QA process – writing test scripts and testing scenarios

Confident participation in triage meeting / backlog grooming session

Comfortable to review with squad and assist and understand the scope

Can take stories assigned and provide the accurate estimations for delivery of test against

Volume of test – ebb and flow based on release cycle

3 different products – one batch application (distributed) and 2 web applications

All three have existing automation – new enhancements and add test scripts is majority of work

Maturity of the automation scripting – one application has through coverage but the batch application and other web has gaps and needs to be enhanced based on the new releases.

SQL – able to ID test data from multiple/different Oracle DB – ID what transactional data need write basic SQL statements and joins from several tables

Required:

Need both Java and Selenium 3 – 5 years

In any testing basic testing read table from SQL

Disconnect on basic programming and testing scenario:

Designed automation framework – example which client used to connect to DB (TOAD or SQL server client)

Selenium / Java – ask what kind of challenges based

Core Java – IDing for UI automation (strings and collection)

Agile testing experience - understand user stories and confident to ask questions during grooming call
