Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for Styli applications, ensuring product quality through automated test plans.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks compatible with mobile (iOS and Android) and web platforms.
Define automation plans for new product launches, ensuring seamless QA processes and identifying improvements in QA practices.
Communicate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and program managers to discuss quality-related needs and address issues.
Ensure release deadlines are met without compromising on product quality.
Take ownership of automation efforts, including exploring new test automation tools and methods.
Establish and maintain processes and toolsets to generate regular test reports and manage automation scripts.
Collaborate directly with developers, business analysts, and global stakeholders to drive quality assurance throughout the development cycle.
Maintain high standards of timeliness and quality in delivery, actively participating in all stages from requirements analysis to test execution.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 6+ years of experience as an SDET with strong test planning, design, and execution experience.
Proficient in automation development using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages like Java or Python.
Experienced in mobile and web test automation.
Demonstrated expertise in test framework design and automation for end-to-end testing (both front-end and back-end).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, lifecycle, and processes.
Hands-on experience with Selenium and Gherkin/Cucumber frameworks.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high-quality standards.
Ability to take a hands-on approach in implementing QA processes and ownership over delivery quality and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in performance, scalability, stress testing, and security testing.
