Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating Agile Development: Guiding teams through the Scrum framework, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coaching and Leading Teams: Coaching teams on Agile practices, helping them develop self-organization, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Removing Impediments: Identifying and resolving issues that hinder team progress, ensuring the team can focus on delivering value.
  • Promoting Continuous Improvement: Facilitating retrospectives, collecting feedback, and implementing changes to improve team processes and outcomes.
  • Facilitating Communication: Ensuring clear communication within the team, between teams, and with stakeholders.
  • Creating and Onboarding Project Teams: Helping teams integrate into the organization and providing a clear vision of the product.
  • Gathering Requirements: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into user stories.
  • Participating in Daily Scrums: Attending daily stand-ups to hear about impediments and help resolve them.
  • Working with cross-functional teams: Collaborating with developers, QA testers, product owners, and other stakeholders.


Skills:-

Scrum Master

  1. Have some PM experience as well (they’re not 100% agile)
  2. Can be an Agile champion
  3. Jira
  4. Facilitate ceremonies, etc.
  5. Can know when things are on/off track and escalate if/when needed
  6. Track velocity, understand burndown charts, monitor carryover
  7. Effective communication with team
  8. Lead Continuous Improvement
  9. GenAI (or any AI) project experience is helpful but not needed
