Scrum Master

Major Responsibilities:

1. Full Scrum Master duties: sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and burn-down management

1. Maintaining RAID logs for managed teams

1. Collaborating with project teams on status reporting

1. Balancing PMO milestone deadlines with scrum team activities based on velocity and blockers

1. Environmental management as projects require

1. Coaching/mentoring in agile best practices

1. Shielding teams from outside distractions

Requirements:

1. Financial background, ideally with exposure to Customer Reference, Derivatives, Cash, Finance, or Banking products

1. Technical understanding, ideally Reference Data, MDM, Snowflake, Python, and ETL/ELT processes

1. Proficiency with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

1. Experience with Agile (Kanban, Scrum) methodologies

1. Familiarity with established software development practices and the SDLC

1. Ability to juggle multiple issues, assess priorities, and make effective decisions quickly

1. Excellent communication and presentation skills
