Scrum Master

Key Skills: Scrum Master, Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, Product Backlog Management, Team Facilitation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Guide the team on Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well-prepared and prioritized product backlog.
• Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
• Identify and eliminate impediments or escalate them as needed.
• Promote continuous improvement and help teams measure their performance (velocity, cycle time, etc.).
• Support agile adoption and maturity across teams and the organization.
• Foster transparency, communication, and collaboration within the team and stakeholders.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum values and principles.
• Track and communicate team metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Experience Required:

• 7 - 9 years of overall IT industry experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong experience in facilitating Agile/Scrum practices across cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams on Agile principles, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in managing team dynamics, promoting collaboration, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
