Responsibilities
We are seeking experienced SAS programmer analysts to join a Biostatistical Consulting Unit to provide programming and biostatistical support to research studies in all fields of medicine led by clinicians (including medical residents).
Description of position: The programmer will support internally funded retrospective research studies, from development of research question, study design and methods, Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposal development and approval; through analytic data base development, data analysis, interpretation of results; to development of abstracts, presentations and publications.

Requirements:
Specific Systems Knowledge Required: Oracle, PC, VPN.
Minimum 2 years' experience with study design and statistical methods.
Minimum 1 year medical or health analytics experience.
Minimum 2 years statistical modeling experience using SAS, R or other advanced statistical package.
Minimum 2 years' experience working with SQL.
Minimum 2 years' experience with Excel.
Minimum 1-year of statistical consulting experience.
Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Experience level: Experienced.
Minimum 4 years of experience.
Education: Master's (required).
Project Management.
