SAS Developer

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with corporate system admins on cross-domain issues
Perform sanity checks post-deployment for smooth production
Work with Insights, Modeling & Reporting teams to deploy jobs in production
Set up SAS scoring accelerator for Hadoop
Automate processes, reports, and model scoring using SAS Macro & Advanced SAS
Optimize data processing using SAS Merge techniques
Work with business teams to resolve defects & ensure seamless execution
Schedule production jobs with SAS Management Console & Unix shell scripting (Cron)
Required Experience & Skills:
🔹 8-10 years of SAS experience, including SAS/BASE (Data step programming) & SAS/SQL
🔹 5+ years of SAS programming (SAS/STAT, SAS Macro, Advanced SAS)
🔹 2+ years of Unix shell scripting for SAS job scheduling
🔹 Experience in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Datalab) & Hadoop (Preferred)
🔹 Strong ETL experience with tools like Talend (Preferred)
🔹 Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
🔹 SAS Certified Base Programmer & Advanced Programmer (Preferred)
🔹 Bachelor’s degree required
