SAP/ERP Supply Chain Functional Consultant

Qualification:

        We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional SAP/ERP Supply Chain Consultant to drive process improvements and optimize supply chain operations using SAP ERP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management principles, ERP systems functionality, and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP solutions and a strong background in functional consulting, process design, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes within SAP ERP, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
• Process Design & Implementation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize supply chain processes, focusing on areas such as inventory management, procurement, order management, and production planning.
• SAP Configuration: Provide functional expertise in SAP modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and others relevant to supply chain operations.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend best practices and SAP functionalities that improve supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and increase accuracy.
• Project Management: Lead or support projects related to the implementation or upgrade of SAP ERP solutions for supply chain processes, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of results.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to business users, ensuring they fully understand how to leverage SAP functionalities to improve supply chain processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders from different departments (procurement, logistics, manufacturing, etc.) to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest SAP features, industry trends, and emerging technologies, applying them to continuously improve supply chain operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with SAP ERP systems in supply chain functions.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, and SAP WM.
• Proven ability to optimize and streamline supply chain processes, with a focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
• Project management experience is a plus
