Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide expertise in SAP WM module including configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Configure core WM functionalities such as putaway strategies, picking, transfer orders, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to design and implement effective warehouse management solutions.
  • Integrate SAP WM with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and LE (Logistics Execution).
  • Develop and support RF (Radio Frequency) transactions for mobile data entry in warehouse environments.
  • Participate in at least one full-cycle SAP WM implementation project.
  • Manage interfaces with external systems such as 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers and barcode scanning systems.
  • Prepare functional specifications, conduct unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the WM module, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Work with SAP tables and understand data structures relevant to warehouse processes.

     

Mandatory Technical Skills

 

  • SAP WM configuration : putaway, picking, transfer orders, inventory control
  • Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD, and LE
  • RF device integration and mobile data entry capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with interfaces involving 3PL and barcode scanners
  • Functional specification writing and documentation
  • Strong understanding of SAP WM tables and data models
