SAP TM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) and possess in-depth knowledge of SAP TM modules. This role requires a professional who can analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless transportation management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management requirements.
o Conduct workshops and interviews to understand client needs and translate them into functional specifications.
2. Solution Design and Configuration:
o Design and configure SAP TM (ECC) modules to meet business requirements.
o Customize SAP TM functionalities including transportation planning, scheduling, carrier selection, and freight costing.
o Develop and implement end-to-end transportation processes, ensuring integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, LE).
3. Implementation and Deployment:
o Lead and participate in SAP TM implementation projects, including system setup, configuration, testing, and deployment.
o Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
o Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues.
4. Integration and Interfaces:
o Design and implement integration solutions between SAP TM and other systems (e.g., third-party logistics providers, EDI interfaces).
o Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between SAP TM and other SAP modules.
5. User Training and Documentation:
o Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
o Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.
6. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the SAP TM landscape.
o Stay updated with the latest SAP TM functionalities and enhancements, and recommend best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 4-10 years of experience in SAP TM (ECC) functional consulting.
· In-depth knowledge of SAP TM modules and related business processes.
