Job Summary:

We are seeking an SAP Technical Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, testing, and implementation while adhering to Volkswagen's global standards. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting business users, and providing end-to-end technical expertise for successful project execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Design and Development:
    • Design, code, and implement scalable, high-quality solutions that align with functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Develop configurable software services supporting enterprise integrations.
    • Author detailed design specifications and lead technical reviews.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Identify technical issues and coordinate resolutions with IT, business, and cross-functional teams.
    • Perform high-level analysis of new requirements or change requests and assess their impact on existing solutions.
  • Testing and Deployment:
    • Perform and coordinate Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing.
    • Guide development teams during coding, testing, documentation, and go-live phases.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with IT teams, SAP teams, and external partners to ensure project completion.
    • Effectively communicate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Independently handle end-to-end project technical design and provide guidance to team members.
    • Provide technical direction and influence teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
    • Estimate efforts for issue resolution and change requests.

  • Forms: Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts
  • Data Conversions
  • WebDynpro Development
  • ABAP Objects and ALV Reporting
  • ABAP Debugging and SAP Transport Management
  • SAP Archiving (Added Advantage)
  • SAP Application Testing Tool (Worksoft) – Preferred
  • Development Experience in Modules: MM/SD/FICO/LE/PS/APO

 

Unique Skills:

  • Experience in onboarding EDI Vendors into SAP systems.
  • Technical knowledge of TSIM (TradeSync Integration Manager) – Preferred.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing and resolving critical technical issues in SAP projects
