Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP SOM (Sales Order Management) / CI (Convergent Invoicing) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP SOM and CI modules and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SOM/CI solutions for our clients. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP SOM/CI solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution related to SAP SOM/CI modules.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide expertise in SAP SOM and CI processes, including order-to-cash, invoicing, revenue management, and customer management.
  • Conduct system configuration and support integration with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, and IS-U (if applicable).
  • Assist in the development of test scenarios, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide training and support to end users, ensuring they are equipped to work with SAP SOM/CI applications.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migration tasks as needed.
  • Stay up to date with SAP developments, best practices, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Support post-implementation activities such as troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
  • Prepare documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working with SAP SOM (Sales Order Management) and SAP CI (Convergent Invoicing) modules.
  • In-depth understanding of order-to-cash (OTC) processes and billing/invoicing workflows in SAP.
  • Experience in SAP system configuration, testing, and integration with other modules like SD, MM, and FICO.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex business and technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP best practices and industry-specific requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  1. SAP Certification in SOM/CI or related SAP modules.
  2. Experience with SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) or SAP Billing.
  3. Experience in global implementation projects or rollouts.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP SOM/CI consulting and implementation.
