SAP Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Security Specialist with expertise in role design, user administration, and security compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Security, including managing SAP roles, performing Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, and ensuring compliance with audit and SOX regulations. Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Saviynt Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Security Role Design: Design, implement, and manage SAP security roles and profiles for various SAP modules (ECC, HR, BW, Portal, CRM, SRM, APO).
• User Administration: Manage user accounts, authorizations, and roles within SAP, including user provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Segregation of Duties (SoD): Perform SoD analysis and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Remediate SoD conflicts and manage process controls.
• SOX Compliance & Audits: Work with internal and external auditors to address audit queries and resolve any identified SoD/SOX issues.
• GRC Management: Implement and manage SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules to support security, compliance, and auditing requirements.
• Fiori & SAC Security: Manage security for SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring secure access to applications and data.
• Saviynt IGA Solution: Design, implement, and maintain Saviynt Identity Governance & Administration solutions, including user lifecycle management, role provisioning, and reconciliation.
• Security Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, role matrices, and user guides.
• Collaboration & Training: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and educate end-users on SAP security best practices. Provide training and support as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP Security, with a focus on role administration, user management, and security compliance.
• Experience with SAP Security in multiple modules (e.g., ECC, HR, BW, Portal, CRM, SRM, APO).
• Strong knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and experience in remediating SoD conflicts.
• Proficiency in SAP Role Design and Authorization Management.
• Experience with SOX compliance and security audits.
• Hands-on experience with Saviynt IGA solutions and understanding of user lifecycle management, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and their security requirements.
• Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) processes and tools.
• Experience with Transporting Authorizations (SE01) and troubleshooting transport issues.
• Proficiency with SAP tables AGR, USH, and USR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong documentation and training skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with MySQL and Unix Shell/Perl scripting.
• Familiarity with Web Services (REST/SOAP), LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Experience with application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
• Experience in automation and security process optimization.
