SAP PP/DS Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP PP/DS Analyst to support APO PP/DS rollouts in the US and Mexico. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP APO Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) and/or S/4 HANA Embedded PP/DS. 

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to design solutions and optimize production planning and scheduling processes. 

Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration & Implementation

• Configure and implement SAP APO PP/DS and S/4 Embedded PP/DS modules to support production planning and finite scheduling.
• Customize PP/DS functionalities to meet business-specific requirements.

System Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide ongoing support for SAP PP/DS systems, including issue resolution and system testing.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in ECC to S/4 HANA migration projects with a focus on embedded PP/DS functionality.
• Business Process Mapping & Requirements Gathering
• Work with business users to gather and document requirements for production planning and scheduling.
• Map business needs to SAP solutions and recommend best practices.

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze current planning processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Implement enhancements to improve planning accuracy, reduce lead times, and increase efficiency.

User Training & Documentation

• Develop and deliver user training on SAP PP/DS functionalities.
• Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and process guides.

Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, production, logistics, and supply chain to align SAP systems with business goals.
• Participate in integration projects involving SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP APO PP/DS or S/4 HANA Embedded PP/DS.
• Proven experience in SAP PP/DS configuration, support, and optimization.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP PP/DS and integration with other SAP modules (PP, MM, SD).
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, and SAP Fiori is a plus.
• Experience with SAP GUI, data migration, system interfaces, and reporting tools (e.g., BW).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in APO or related modules.
• Experience with global SAP implementations or rollouts.
• Knowledge of advanced planning and scheduling best practices in manufacturing or supply chain.

Certifications

• SAP APO or relevant SAP module certifications (preferred)
