SAP PP Functional Consultant

Job Description

Key skills:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Consultant in a manufacturing or related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Materials Management or production Planning module functionalities, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience in full lifecycle SAP MM/PP implementations, from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certification in related modules is advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements related to procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP MM/PP solutions, including Master Data setup, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Material Valuation.
• Lead and participate in SAP MM/PP module implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Provide expertise in integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Quality Management (QM), and Production Planning (PP).
• Exposure to the Production Planning module is preferred.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to educate end-users on SAP MM functionalities and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, conduct system testing, and offer ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP/MM modules.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP PP trends, innovations, and industry standards to recommend and implement process improvements
