SAP PP Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Consultant with 6-8 years of expertise in SAP PP, specifically in S/4HANA implementation, migration, and support. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA PP functionalities in alignment with manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA PP Implementation & Configuration:

• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA PP to support end-to-end production planning and execution.
• Work with MRP Live, Demand-Driven Replenishment (DDR), and Advanced Planning (PP/DS) in SAP S/4HANA.
• Implement SAP Fiori applications related to production planning and shop floor control.
• Optimize material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and order execution using S/4HANA best practices.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization:

• Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP S/4HANA PP standard solutions.
• Optimize Discrete Manufacturing, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Process Industries within S/4HANA.
• Provide recommendations on SAP Best Practices and new features in S/4HANA PP.

SAP S/4HANA Migration & Integration:

• Participate in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including data migration, simplification items, and Fiori adoption.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, EWM, and APO/IBP.
• Work with SAP Activate methodology and conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops.

Testing, Training & Support:

• Develop and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in an S/4HANA environment.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare support for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Train business users on S/4HANA PP functionalities, Fiori apps, and new business processes.
• Document functional specifications for custom enhancements in S/4HANA.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP (6-8 years).
• Hands-on experience with MRP Live, Demand-Driven Replenishment (DDR), Capacity Planning, and Production Execution in S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) in S/4HANA.
• Experience in integrating SAP PP with MM, SD, QM, EWM, and IBP.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for production planning and execution.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects and SAP Activate methodology.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• SAP S/4HANA PP certification (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Worked on at least 2-3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA PP implementations.
• Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
• Knowledge of Predictive MRP (pMRP), DDR, and advanced planning features in S/4HANA
