SAP PDM/PLM Techno-Functional Consultant (S/4HANA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PDM (Product Data Management) / PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Techno-Functional Consultant with 5-8 years of expertise in SAP PLM, Engineering Change Management (ECM), BOM Management, and S/4HANA PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PLM solutions in an S/4HANA environment, ensuring seamless integration between product development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PDM/PLM Implementation & Configuration:

• Configure and implement SAP PLM/PDM solutions in an S/4HANA environment.

• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) Management, Document Management System (DMS), Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Recipe Management.

• Set up Product Structure Management (PSM) and Classification System in SAP.

• Implement SAP Fiori applications for PLM functionalities to improve user experience.

• Configure Material Master, Change Number Management, and Workflow Approvals for PLM processes.

SAP S/4HANA Migration & Integration:

• Work on SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring PLM/PDM data integrity and process optimization.

• Integrate SAP PLM with SAP MM, PP, QM, EWM, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems.

• Support SAP Engineering Control Center (SAP ECTR) for CAD Integration.

• Implement SAP Product Compliance & Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) solutions where required.

Technical Development & Customization:

• Work with SAP ABAP, BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancement frameworks for custom PLM developments.

• Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements for SAP PLM/PDM processes.

• Optimize SAP PLM workflows and approval processes using SAP Workflow Management.

Testing, Training & Support:

• Develop and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for SAP PLM/PDM solutions.

• Conduct end-user training on SAP PLM functionalities, workflows, and Fiori applications.

• Provide post-go-live support for SAP PLM in S/4HANA.

• Document functional and technical specifications for enhancements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP PLM/PDM, including S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management.

• Strong knowledge of BOM Management, Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Document Management System (DMS).

• Experience with SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR) for CAD Integration.

• Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori applications for PLM.

• Strong ABAP debugging, BAPIs, BAdIs, and Workflow development skills.

• Knowledge of SAP Product Compliance and EHS is a plus.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• SAP PLM Certification (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Worked on at least 2-3 full-cycle SAP PLM/PDM implementations on S/4HANA.

• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or process industries.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and AI-driven product lifecycle analytics is a plus.
