SAP MM Functional Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Lead to drive implementation, rollout, and support activities within the SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP P2P processes, S/4HANA logistics, and integration with third-party systems. 

This role requires strong analytical skills, configuration expertise, and the ability to lead complex business requirement discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM solutions.
• Conduct detailed analysis of complex business processes and provide appropriate system solutions.
• Lead workshops to gather and document business requirements.
• Map client business processes and objectives to SAP MM functionalities and develop necessary product modifications.
• Design, customize, configure, and test SAP MM solutions.
• Identify gaps, issues, and propose workarounds or enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Manage emergency transports and high-priority changes.
• Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
• Proactively propose system and process improvements.
• Provide consulting services for new implementations and ongoing support projects.
• Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
• Mentor junior team members and work independently on assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
• Strong experience in SAP P2P processes, including rollout, implementation, and support.
• Expertise in handling complex business requirements in MM and WM modules.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP MM settings.
• End-to-end implementation experience in S/4HANA Logistics.
• Ability to guide business teams toward core SAP solutions with minimal customizations.
• Experience in leading full-cycle SAP MM implementation projects.
• Exposure to global clients and working in proximity with international teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with third-party systems.
• Experience in data migration and conversion to SAP ECC environments.
• Familiarity with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP PP (Production Planning) modules
