SAP MDG Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG-EAM Consultant with both functional and technical expertise to support our S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing the SAP MDG-EAM extension from Prometheus Group, enabling robust governance of asset master data such as equipment, functional locations, and BOMs.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional:

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP MDG-EAM using the Prometheus Group extension.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define governance processes for asset master data.

• Configure data models, workflows, validations, and business rules for EAM objects.

• Support data quality initiatives and ensure alignment with clean core principles.

• Conduct workshops, training, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Technical:

• Customize and enhance the Prometheus MDG-EAM solution using ABAP, BRF+, and FPM.

• Integrate MDG-EAM with S/4HANA and external systems using BAPIs, IDocs, or APIs.

• Develop and maintain data replication models and key mapping configurations.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and support ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in SAP MDG and 2+ years in EAM.

• Proven experience implementing SAP MDG-EAM using the Prometheus Group extension.

• Strong understanding of EAM master data (equipment, functional locations, BOMs, etc.).

• Proficiency in ABAP development and MDG extensibility.

• Experience with data migration tools and data quality frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP MDG or EAM certification.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Fiori apps, or MDG on cloud.

• Experience in asset-intensive industries (e.g., utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing).
