Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FSM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Field Service Management (FSM) solutions for our clients in the Building Solutions sector, with a mandatory background in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or Government industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on expertise in SAP FSM, Service Cloud, and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA to revolutionize field service operations, intelligent dispatch management, empower the mobile workforce, and significantly enhance customer service delivery.

This pivotal role will be instrumental in modernizing our client's service operations, enabling real-time dispatch capabilities, optimizing field technician scheduling for maximum efficiency, and elevating customer satisfaction through flawless service execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Design:
    • Lead the complete end-to-end SAP FSM solution architecture, ensuring strict alignment with the client's unique business requirements and industry best practices, particularly within the A&D or Government sector.
    • Design and implement comprehensive field service management workflows encompassing work order lifecycle management, intelligent technician scheduling, proactive preventive maintenance strategies, efficient service parts logistics, and robust mobile enablement solutions.
    • Define robust FSM data models to guarantee seamless and efficient integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service Cloud, and relevant third-party applications (such as IoT platforms, Procore, and CPQ systems).
    • Expertly configure core FSM functionalities, including dynamic and optimized scheduling, intelligent route optimization, streamlined work order processing, accurate time tracking mechanisms, and intuitive customer self-service portals.
    • Ensure the FSM solution comprehensively supports service contract management, accurate warranty tracking, and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implementation & Integration:
    • Architect robust and scalable FSM integration scenarios with core SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, PM, PS, CS, EWM) and critical external systems (including fleet tracking solutions, customer portals, CRM platforms, and procurement systems).
    • Collaborate effectively with Procore integration initiatives for seamless project-based service delivery, ensuring smooth transitions from initial sales through installation and ongoing maintenance phases.
    • Work closely with technical teams to strategically implement SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for the development of advanced service analytics capabilities and cutting-edge mobility solutions for the field workforce.
    • Lead critical data migration efforts pertaining to installed base information, comprehensive warranty details, historical service records, and essential technician data.
  • Project Leadership & Change Management:
    • Serve as the primary and authoritative SAP FSM Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the client's SAP S/4HANA transformation journey, providing expert guidance and support to the entire implementation team.
    • Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to champion user adoption of the new FSM solution, develop comprehensive training programs, and ensure a seamless and efficient transition for all end-users.
    • Establish robust FSM governance frameworks to enforce standardization of processes, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and guarantee scalability across the client's diverse service operations, with a strong understanding of A&D or Government-specific regulations.
    • Lead critical User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, provide comprehensive hypercare support during go-live, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the FSM solution post-implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5 years of deep, hands-on experience in SAP FSM, SAP Customer Service (CS), or SAP Service Cloud implementations.
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully designing and implementing SAP FSM solutions for field service-intensive businesses, preferably with direct experience in sectors such as Fire & Security, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), or broader Engineering Services, with a strong preference for experience within the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or Government industry.
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration capabilities, particularly with SD (Sales and Distribution), PM (Plant Maintenance), CS (Customer Service), MM (Materials Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and SAP Service Cloud.
  • Significant hands-on experience in dispatching and scheduling optimization, mobile workforce enablement strategies, and efficient mobile service execution processes within SAP FSM.
  • Deep expertise in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), OData services, and various cloud integration methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things), Predictive Maintenance strategies, and real-time tracking solutions is considered a significant plus.
  • Prior experience with Procore, SAP CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), or other relevant field service-related third-party tools is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and stakeholder management skills are essential.
