SAP FICO Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture:

Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Record to Report (R2R) processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling (CO), and Intercompany Accounting.
Define best practices for financial reporting, consolidation, revenue recognition, and cost allocations.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards.
Work with SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Advanced Financial Closing solutions for streamlined financial operations.

Implementation & Project Leadership:

Lead three or more full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations as an FICO lead.
Define project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful deployment.
Collaborate with business teams, IT, and key stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives.
Leverage SAP Activate methodology for implementation and rollout strategies.

Integration & Data Management:

Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with SAP MM, SD, Treasury (TRM), and Taxation (SAP Vertex, SAP Localization Hub).
Manage data migration, validation, and reconciliation for financial transactions and master data.
Work with SAP BTP, APIs, and middleware (SAP CPI, PI/PO, IDocs, BAPIs) for financial data exchange.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support:

Act as a trusted advisor for finance and business teams, ensuring SAP solutions align with financial and operational goals.
Provide training, documentation, and change management to support end-user adoption.
Troubleshoot and resolve FICO-related system issues and process inefficiencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA FICO & R2R.
CA/ICWA qualification is required.
Proven experience in at least three end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations as an FICO lead.
Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Asset Accounting (AA).
Strong knowledge of SAP Group Reporting, Financial Consolidation, and Central Finance.
Experience in SAP Treasury, Taxation, and Intercompany Accounting.
Proficiency in SAP BTP, Fiori apps, and financial workflow automation.
SAP S/4HANA FICO certification (preferred).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
