Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financial (FI) and Management (CO) Accounting Module
Proven SAP functional consulting experience in a customer-facing role with industry leading clients in the concerned domain, preferably in manufacturing & service sector.
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials & Controlling (focus on General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis)
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirement
Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Should able to lead business process workshops, design business processes, write specifications, configure system, test, and train business users.
Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance (MBA, M.Com. or equivalent)
Certification/trainings preferably
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a full cycle implementation and in support projects mainly into designing and configuring FICO module.
Experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis
Good understanding of manufacturing business processes pertaining to Financial and Management Accounting as part of domain knowledge
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA from SAP FICO module perspective
Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, PM etc..
Well versed to use FIORI Transactional and Analytical Apps
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
Understanding of accounting business processes
Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “Can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international client.
SAP S/4 HANA Certification in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of Product Development / Co-innovation approach / methodology is an asset.
SAP FSCM, SAC, Group Reporting knowledge is an added advantage.
Knowledge of third-party tool interface is an added advantage.
