We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Architect to lead the design and implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP EWM, warehouse processes, and integration with other SAP and third-party modules. This role will be responsible for defining EWM architecture, guiding project teams, and ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business goals.
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable EWM solutions.
Provide technical leadership in the design and development of EWM-related functionalities.
Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, TM) and third-party systems.
Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements in system performance and design.
Support project planning, estimations, and resource allocation for EWM initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and SAP guidelines.
Provide guidance to EWM consultants and developers during the project lifecycle.
Troubleshoot critical EWM issues and provide long-term solutions.
Maintain documentation for architecture design, processes, and configurations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in SAP implementations, with at least 5 years as an SAP EWM Architect.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP EWM 9.5 and/or SAP S/4HANA EWM (embedded or decentralized).
Experience with warehouse automation, RF integration, and material handling systems.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and warehouse management best practices.
Proven experience in leading full-cycle SAP EWM implementations.
Proficient in SAP EWM configuration and customizing.
Experience with EWM-WM migration projects is a plus.
Strong understanding of IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
SAP S/4HANA certification.
Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Familiarity with SAP TM, Yard Logistics, or Transportation Integration.
Experience with SAP Fiori apps and UI5 enhancements in EWM context
