SAP Data Migration

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data migration strategies, methodologies, and frameworks aligned with project objectives.
• Analyze source systems and target SAP structures to define data mapping, transformation, and validation rules.
• Design and configure SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, LTMC, or other tools for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure data requirements are understood and aligned with business processes.
• Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Create and maintain data migration documentation including mapping specifications, procedures, and test scripts.
• Lead mock migration cycles, reconcile data, and troubleshoot migration errors.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for data validation, approvals, and sign-off.
• Provide post-migration support, ensuring data integrity and resolving any discrepancies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP Data Migration across large-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, etc.) and their data structures.
• Hands-on experience with SAP data migration tools:
• SAP Data Services (BODS)
• LSMW, LTMC, or SAP Migration Cockpit
• SQL and ETL processes
• Strong data analysis, data cleansing, and validation expertise.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Experience in S/4HANA migration projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• SAP certification(s) in Data Services, Data Management, or relevant modules.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations (Greenfield/Brownfield).
• Knowledge of GRC, IAG, or data governance frameworks is an advantage
