Job Title: SAP Business Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA(Onsite)

Role Description:           

• Facilitates and leads cross functional team of business owners, product management, software development, system architects, SQA and other key stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective systems solution.

• Quickly understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, systems capabilities, and presents solution options.

• Evaluate business processes/systems and lead solution definition (workflow, technology, data, etc.) to support business goals and initiatives.

• Manage changes to the solution requirements, assessing the impact of requirement changes, and ensuring appropriate approval of those changes.

• Manage solution requirement communication, ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify project objectives, scope, dependencies and risks for projects.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing, to ensure solution provided meets the business acceptance.

• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity within the context of the overall business strategy.

Essential Skills:             

• Skilled in Software and Project Development Life Cycle

• Having Business Analysis Experience in ERP Projects - especially SAP projects 

• Expertise in process mapping and modelling

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to effectively facilitate and bring together medium/large sized cross-functional teams with different viewpoints during brainstorming discussions

• Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, and Documentation

• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills

• Technology Solution Assessment and Validation

• Strong leadership skills and business acumen

• Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

• Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities, consistently meeting deadlines

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

• Highly driven, result and commitment oriented

Desirable Skills:             Any ERP Projects Experience - SAP or Oracle prior to business analysis role
