Description

  • Provides deep SAP BASIS technology expertise and support in specialties such as HANA, SAP Business Suite (ERP, BW/BI, APO, PI), SAP SaaS Solutions (BTP, SSF).
  • Collaborates with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions for efficient deployment.
  • Where required, innovates by architecting, designing, integrating, building, and testing customer-specific solutions across application stack, infrastructure stack, or services.
  • Ensures solutions and designs delivered by partners are validated and meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Provides product teams with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions and translating business vision into technical vision.
  • Supports and influences technical activities (design, build, testing) in complex environments.
  • Assists in resolving complex technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and recommending SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions.

Technical Experience – Required

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS technologies (e.g., HANA, SAP Business Suite – ERP, BW/BI, APO, PI)
  • Hands-on and design-level expertise in BASIS technologies

Technical Experience – Nice to Have

  • Experience in Cloud technologies (specifically Azure)
  • Experience with SAP S/4 suites

Ideal Candidate

  • Solid knowledge of SAP technologies and products (SAP certification highly beneficial)
  • In-depth technical knowledge of SAP BASIS technologies with experience in large and complex landscapes
  • Expert-level BASIS, HANA, and SUSE knowledge (preferably Pacemaker experience)
  • Good knowledge of Hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes
  • S/4 experience including Fiori, embedded gateway, and technical conversions
  • General understanding of architecture and design principles
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
