SAP BASIS Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Securities Consultant with 5+ years of experience and 2+ end-to-end S/4HANA implementations. The consultant should hold valid SAP BASIS certification with strong expertise in system administration, security, and user management. The role requires working offshore from Hyderabad with flexibility to travel to Bhutan if client requirements arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform SAP BASIS administration including system installation, upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.

Manage SAP security concepts including roles, profiles, and authorizations across S/4HANA systems.

Ensure compliance with SAP security best practices and audit requirements.

Support user administration, access management, and troubleshooting of authorization issues.

Monitor system performance, perform health checks, and implement corrective measures.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure secure integration and smooth operations.

Support system refreshes, client copies, transport management, and backup strategies.

Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

SAP S/4HANA BASIS Certification (mandatory).

5+ years of hands-on BASIS and Security experience.

Minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

Strong expertise in user management, authorization design, and security monitoring.

Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, transport management, and system landscapes.

Proficiency in OS/DB administration and HANA database management.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
