SAP APO

Key Responsibilities:

SAP APO Implementation, Support & Migration:

• Configure and support SAP APO modules including:

• Demand Planning (DP) – Forecasting, statistical models, and integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA.

• Supply Network Planning (SNP) – Optimizing supply chain networks, heuristics, and capacity leveling.

• Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) – Scheduling production orders, resource optimization.

• Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) – Rule-based ATP checks and backorder processing.

• Work on SAP APO to S/4HANA PP/DS or SAP IBP migration projects.

• Integrate SAP APO with SAP S/4HANA, MM, PP, SD, and EWM for end-to-end supply chain planning.

SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain & Advanced Planning:

• Implement and optimize SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) for complex manufacturing.

• Configure and support Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP), predictive MRP (pMRP), and advanced MRP functionalities in S/4HANA.

• Work with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) for demand and supply planning.

• Implement Fiori-based real-time analytics for supply chain visibility.

Testing, Training & Support:

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for SAP APO and S/4HANA implementations.

• Provide post-go-live support for SAP APO and SAP S/4HANA PP/DS solutions.

• Train business users on S/4HANA PP/DS functionalities, Fiori apps, and supply chain best practices.

• Document functional specifications and work with ABAP teams for custom developments.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP) and S/4HANA Supply Chain.

• Expertise in SAP PP/DS configuration in S/4HANA.

• Strong knowledge of MRP, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Capacity Planning, and Scheduling.

• Experience in SAP APO to S/4HANA migration (or IBP transition projects).

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori for PP/DS and supply chain analytics.

• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard workshops.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• SAP APO or S/4HANA PP/DS certification (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Worked on at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP APO & S/4HANA PP/DS implementations.

• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.

• Knowledge of SAP IBP and AI-driven supply chain analytics is a plus.
