Description

Seeking a highly skilled ABAP Lead/Architect with extensive experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ABAP development, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, and a deep understanding of SAP architecture and business processes. As a key team member, you will design, develop, and optimize solutions while guiding the team through the migration process.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:

Lead and manage ABAP development activities for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to the development team.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
ABAP Development:

Design and develop custom ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and compliance with S/4HANA standards.
Develop and test CDS views, OData services, and other S/4HANA-specific technologies.
Migration Activities:

Analyze existing ECC customizations and adapt them for S/4HANA compatibility.
Utilize SAP tools like ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) to identify and resolve code remediation issues.
Perform code migrations, adjustments, and optimizations to comply with S/4HANA best practices.
Solution Design and Architecture:

Develop scalable and robust ABAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA.
Ensure adherence to SAP's clean core principles and support future upgrade paths.
Collaborate with architects to define system design and integration strategies.
Project Management:

Participate in project planning, estimations, and resource allocation.
Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of development deliverables.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide progress updates and address challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with at least 2 full-cycle SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in RICEF, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori development.
Strong understanding of S/4HANA-specific features such as HANA database, AMDPs, and ABAP on HANA best practices.

Migration Tools:
Experience with ATC, Code Inspector, SPAU/SPDD, and other SAP migration tools.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO) and their integration points.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Certifications: SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
Knowledge of SAP BTP and integration with S/4HANA.
Familiarity with agile methodologies
