SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in object-oriented programming, SAP Fiori development, and Gateway services. The ideal candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in ABAP development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a technical expert, ensuring quick resolution of application issues.

Develop and implement SAP ABAP programs, including reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.

Design, develop, and optimize SAP Fiori applications and Gateway services.

Write and review technical specifications for SAP projects.

Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and acceptance testing for developed functions.

Optimize SAP performance tuning to enhance system efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless SAP system integration.

Provide ongoing operational support and assist with system upgrades and enhancements.

Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming in ABAP.
• 1+ years of SAP Fiori development experience.
• Expertise in SAP Gateway development.
• Ability to write and interpret technical and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the retail industry.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) or Java.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning for SAP applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
