SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 3+ years of experience to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development, troubleshooting, and system enhancements to optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• Work on SAP modules like PP, MM, SD, and QM
• Develop and optimize Custom Reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPScripts.
• Implement and troubleshoot User Exits, BADI, BAPI, and Enhancement Framework.
• Design and develop ALV reports, IDOCs, and Interfaces.
• Debug and resolve issues in SAP standard/custom programs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for SAP programs.
• Support SAP ECC 6.0 only migration and implementation projects.
• Work on integration with third-party applications through RFC, BAPI, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).

Required Skills

• Core ABAP (Reports, Module Pool, ALV, Forms, Enhancements).
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS ABAP).
• Enhancements & Modifications (User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots).
• SAP Scripts, SmartForms, Adobe Forms.
• IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Performance Tuning & Debugging Skills.
• Experience with manufacturing industry processes in SAP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience of ABAP (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/UI5 exposure).
• Workflow development experience.
• Understanding of SAP PP, MM, SD, QM business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry environment is a plus
