Salesforce Velocity/OmniStudio Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions utilizing the full capabilities of the Velocity/OmniStudio suite (including DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, OmniScripts, FlexCards, and the Calculation Engine).
• Understand complex business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable technical designs within the Salesforce and OmniStudio ecosystem.
• Design and implement industry-specific solutions leveraging Velocity Industry Clouds (e.g., Communications, Media and Entertainment, Energy and Utilities, Insurance, Health).  
• Architect data models, integration patterns, and user interfaces within the OmniStudio framework.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements.  
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions within the OmniStudio environment.
• Stay current with the latest Salesforce and Velocity/OmniStudio features and updates, and provide recommendations for leveraging new capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of architectural best practices and standards within the organization.
• Potentially mentor and guide junior OmniStudio developers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in Information Technology.
• Must have 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Senior Salesforce OmniStudio Architect.
• Deep and demonstrable expertise in the Salesforce Velocity/OmniStudio suite, including:
  • DataRaptors (Turbo Extract, Load, Transform).
  • Integration Procedures.
  • OmniScripts (Declarative Development).
  • FlexCards.
  • Calculation Engine and Matrixes.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the AppExchange ecosystem.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions within at least one Velocity Industry Cloud (e.g., Communications, Media and Entertainment, Energy and Utilities, Insurance, Health).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience designing efficient data structures within Salesforce and OmniStudio.
• Experience with integration patterns and technologies relevant to Salesforce (REST, SOAP APIs, etc.).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Salesforce OmniStudio Certification (Developer, Consultant, or Architect).
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex (for extending OmniStudio capabilities).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
• Experience with performance optimization within the Salesforce and OmniStudio environment.
