Primary Responsibilities
· Design scalable and high-performance Salesforce solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and industry standards
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform
· Lead the technical design sessions and architect complex technical solutions using Salesforce and related technologies
· Perform hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce platform
· Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and maintainability
· Ensures technical solutions are comprehensive and consider end-to-end business processes
· Engage cross-functional teams on complete end-to-end integration solutions
· Provide guidance and mentorship to the Salesforce development team on technical and functional design aspects of Salesforce implementations
· Evaluate new Salesforce releases and features, providing recommendations for process improvements
· Ensure Salesforce solutions align with security and data compliance standards
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering
Experience
· 8+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology and/or Systems Application Development related roles
· Minimum 5 years in a Salesforce architecture role
· Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect are required.
· Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect in complex environments, ideally within the transportation or logistics industry
· Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Apex programming, Lightning components, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
· Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
· Experience integrating with 3rd party solutions using industry standards techniques like REST and experience in using integration tools like MuleSoft.
· Supervisory experience is required in leading Salesforce developers and admins.
· Experience in architecting solutions that are aligned with Contract Center capabilities are must-have with tools Success KPI, AWS Connect, Service Cloud Voice, and Salesforce Service Cloud.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, guiding and mentoring developers
· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value
