Standing up a new instance of Workforce Edge – online platform to manage employers’ educational benefits like tuition reimbursement
Employers are able to track employees’ progress in training/educational courses
Employees can upload their course/payment documentation for reimbursement, manage their educational benefit dollars, and access in-network schools to browse and select courses
Primarily focusing on the B2B aspect of Workforce Edge – Salesforce Marketing Cloud
One part of this is outreach to employers to sell and administer educational benefits
Other part is Sophia Learning – employers can subscribe to this service so employees can access discounted courses. They also work with universities and community groups as a way for students to get credits that will transfer to the school of their choice
Responsibilities:
Support the development of the new instance of Workforce Edge and the revamp of existing instances
Hands on development of custom Salesforce solutions
Primary focus for this person will be backend development – Apex and Ampscript
Must Haves:
Backend Salesforce development – Apex & Ampscript
Would consider someone who has a background in Salesforce Administration with more recent development experience – need to know how the backend of Salesforce works
Salesforce Marketing Cloud – look for less Service Cloud and more Sales Cloud
Strong aptitude for learning and expanding their skillset – manager described this person as a “voracious learner”
Variety of industry experience – don’t need to have education experience, but does NOT want someone who has spent a majority of their career in finance or insurance.
Nice to Have:
Salesforce Certification – Developer or Developer 2 preferred
Middleware experience – MuleSoft, Mockito, or similar
