Salesforce Developer

Job Description:

Leads the technical strategy of Salesforce technologies, products and services, and leads the design and implementations of enterprise-level solutions on the Salesforce platform that meet organization requirements and adhere to industry best practices.

Develops and maintains technical architecture documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications and design documents. Provides guidance and mentorship to Salesforce team members to ensure that solutions and integration are scalable across the enterprise.

Collaborates with technical teams, testing teams and stakeholders to design, develop, document and test solutions to drive successful project delivery and enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with MDA staff, technical teams, and vendors (like Tyler Technologies and Velocity Payment Gateway) to design tailored Salesforce solutions for different programs (e.g., Turf and Seed, Nutrient Management, Pesticide Regulation, etc.). The architect will ensure that Salesforce components integrate with legacy systems and the new OneStop platform

Deep experience with Salesforce architecture, integration expertise, strong knowledge of Salesforce's capabilities (e.g., Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning, or other relevant products), and the ability to design scalable solutions
