SALESFORCE DATA MIGRATION LEAD

•    Lead a team of data migration analysts and developers, ensuring timely delivery against milestones.

•    Collaborate with client stakeholders to finalize legacy data migration strategies.

•    Report to the Project Manager and drive delivery of data migration components.

•    Manage data migration teams responsible for mapping, analysis, transformation, QA/UAT support, and cross-functional collaboration.

•    Analyze source data and articulate data quality assumptions (data cleansing remains client responsibility).

•    Lead data transformation into Salesforce Data Model, excluding legacy business process rules.

•    Address migration issues and deviations through structured change management.

•    Coordinate with clients to obtain Data Dictionaries and ERDs and assist with system documentation.

•    Identify data risks and develop mitigation plans with stakeholders.

Data Migration Execution:

•    Facilitate end-to-end data mapping and migration activities.

•    Plan and execute data migrations using Informatica (ETL processes).

•    Build workflows and transformation logic with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

•    Ensure data accuracy and integrity before, during, and after migration.

•    Apply data encryption, masking, and anonymization methods for sensitive data.

•    Document processes including mapping specs, runbooks, error logs, and deployment guides.

•    Manage data movement and validation across Salesforce environments (dev, test, UAT, prod).

Integration and Automation:

•    Integrate Salesforce with external systems via Informatica, APIs, middleware, or similar tools.

•    Automate workflows to reduce manual effort using Informatica.

•    Monitor and resolve integration issues for consistent data flow.

Team Leadership:

•    Lead the migration team and oversee deliverables and timelines.

•    Assign and review team tasks to maintain quality standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

•    Partner with business analysts, Salesforce admins, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.

•    Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

•    Provide updates on progress and participate in key meetings.

What You’ll Bring

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

•    Experience: 7+ years in database migration with expertise in Salesforce data projects.

•    Tools: Proficient in Informatica (IICS, PowerCenter, Cloud), Salesforce APIs, SQL, and ETL frameworks.

•    Legacy Migration: Experience migrating from mainframe systems (VSAM, COBOL copybooks, flat files).

•    Salesforce: Familiarity with Salesforce deployments, metadata management, data sequencing, and sandbox strategy.

•    Analysis: Experience using Power BI for data quality assessments.

•    Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Bonus Points For

•    Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or other regulated Salesforce environments.

•    Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps or Salesforce CLI for deployment.

•    Knowledge of Agile delivery tools and methodologies (Jira, Azure DevOps)
