Role Summary:
We are looking for a Salesforce CPQ/Billing Support Consultant to join our team as an individual contributor focused on production support and issue resolution for Salesforce Revenue Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, a strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes, and a problem-solving mindset to support business operations and minimize disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve user-reported issues in Salesforce CPQ and Billing (e.g., pricing, quoting, orders, amendments, usage, and invoicing)
- Perform root cause analysis, identify patterns, and implement long-term fixes in collaboration with development or admin teams
- Monitor and respond to integration failures and system errors between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., ERP, tax engines like Avalara)
- Execute basic data fixes and configuration adjustments (price rules, product bundles, flows) as needed within established guardrails
- Handle administrative tasks such as user access, permission set updates, and record corrections
- Log, track, and document issues in a ticketing system (e.g., JIRA), ensuring timely updates and resolutions
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation for minor enhancements or fixes
- Maintain internal documentation for known issues, resolutions, and support workflows
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on support experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and Revenue Cloud workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills in quote-to-cash lifecycle, including pricing, discounts, amendments, subscriptions, usage, and invoicing
- Experience with system monitoring, root cause analysis, and support ticket triaging
- Strong knowledge of development experience with APEX, Salesforce Flow, and debugging via logs
- Working knowledge of SOQL and basic data analysis in Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Salesforce Certified Administrator, CPQ Specialist, and Billing Super badge
