Salesforce Business Analyst

• The DNS team is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Cloud experience. The role focuses on developing/modifying templates (email, push, SMS, letter), implementing personalization variables (AMPScript basics), validating Data Extension mappings, and supporting journey/triggered send configuration, testing, and monitoring. Exposure to SMS/Push channels and the ability to interpret API specifications are a plus. This position requires cross-team coordination, system/data analysis, and implementing technology solutions to enhance business processes.
• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and modify backend templates (transactional email, push, SMS, letter) and configure personalization variables.
• Validate Data Extension mappings and support journey/triggered send configuration, testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business units to analyze requirements, document workflows, and enhance system functionality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend templates align with business workflows.
• Support software releases, ensuring smooth transitions to production.
• Conduct system and data analysis using SQL and statistical techniques.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (required) and Adobe Experience Cloud (preferred).
• Working knowledge of HTML, AMPScript basics, and SOAP UI API.
• Experience with Workfront, ADO, Jira, or other project management tools.
• Strong SQL and analytical skills for system/data analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support project delivery.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and presentation software
