Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and scalable ruby on rails code.
  • Write, enhance or update code across the entire technology stack.
  • Review and debugg other developers’ code.
  • Improve and maintaine applications after deployment.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with NodeJS, C#, React, TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (especially React.js and ES6) is a plus.
  • English language skills are at minimum intermediate level, both written and spoken, preferable better.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well remotely, responsive, communicates well, and can work in a fast paced environment.
  • Quick learners are able to quickly understand complex business.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a web application developer using ruby on rails.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with SQL (ANSI-SQL, T-SQL, PL-SQL).
  • Experience managing supporting cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation for ruby on rails applications (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience working with legacy code.
  • Experience providing strong customer service or strong empathy for the customer experience.
  • Appreciation for and experience with version control (git) and branching strategies.
  • Experience with Azure (Azure SQL, AKS, etc).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
