Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled RPG Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RPG programming, AS/400 systems, and REST API integration. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications to support our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain RPG applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems.
• Design and implement RESTful services to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Manage and maintain DB2 databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RPG applications and AS/400 systems.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, SQLRPGLE DB2.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) architecture and operations.
• Expertise in REST API integration using JSON and XML.
• Strong experience with DB2, SQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Rational Developer for i and IBM i Access Client Solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
