This is a remote position.
The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
Program Manager Responsibilities
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
- Organizing programs and activities according to the mission and goals of the customer organization.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the business unit
- Creating and managing long-term goals for the team
- Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Managing a team with required skills and define roles and responsibilities.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team and individual performance.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders to enable opportunities and enable better communication.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Analyzing program risks and planning mitigation
- Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
Required Skills
- 4+ year experience in program management
- 15+ year experience in IT with 5+ years in project management
- Well versed in waterfall, iterative, agile, spotify execution methodology
- Experience in preparing detailed project plans
- Certified PMP, CSM
- Certification in PgMP is added advantage
- Responsible for resource utilization and P&L
- Expertise in office tools, Project management tools like SNOW, JIRA, Azure Dev-ops
- Create and present management reports for customer and internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in program management.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience managing a team.
- Experience in RPA projects is an added advantage.
- Account mining is essential
