Route / Switch Engineers

Skills (Mandatory):
Excellent knowledge and experience of Routing, Switching, ACLs, Subnetting concepts
Excellent understanding of static and dynamic routing protocols - EIGRP, BGP
Good understanding of VPN technologies like IPSec, DMVPN and Remote Access VPN
Knowledge of both IPv4 and IPv6 must
Excellent network troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of NG Firewalls (ASA/FTD/FMC)
CCNP certification
Good understanding in navigation and usage of Linux CLI

Additional (good to have):
CCIE Routing & Switching
VRFs, IPSec
Knowledge of Git or any other revision control system
Python

Minimum 5 years of experience in Routing & Switching
Good communication skills, willingness to learn, must work individually/independently and as a team player as well

Job functions
Configure and install various network devices and services, from routing, switching, and firewall
Manage the network infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Participate in regular system maintenance and upgrades.
Understand and apply standards where we snowflakes/custom configurations are noticed
Handle operational cases that involve access related items (verify, confirm and propose where needed), troubleshooting network related issues (slowness, routing issues)
Handle network triggered events, like eigrp flapping, faulty hardware, faulty interfaces
Assist with the verification and keep a high standard of our infrastructure
Implement new hardware and handle configuration
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
