Description

  • Work with the informatics team members to provide interface support for new and existing electronic laboratory report (ELR), syndromic surveillance message (SyS), and electronic case report (eCR) data feeds
  • Conduct quality assurance and validation of incoming messages (ELR, SyS, eCR)
  • Maintain and support development in Azure Cloud
  • Lead identification of solutions for information access
  • Assist ESIC, BIT, and vendors to implement any new system or system change
  • Create documentation, system d diagrams, and guidelines to communicate design decisions and best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or Master’s degree in Public Health
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of coding standards, such as HL7, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, and other clinical or message coding
