RedHat OpenShift Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Red Hat OpenShift container platform environments.
Work closely with development teams to build and deploy cloud-native applications using OpenShift.
Collaborate with architects to design scalable and resilient application architectures on OpenShift.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift platform and applications.
Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for application deployment on OpenShift.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to containerization and orchestration.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Red Hat OpenShift container platform in production environments.
Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration (OpenShift).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or similar certification.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing
