React Developer

Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented React Developer with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js to join our team on a 3-month contract. This role involves working on Web/Front End development projects and is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building dynamic and scalable web applications. While candidates located in or near Irving, TX, are preferred, remote work is acceptable for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to best practices.
• Debug and resolve performance and scalability issues across the applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team processes.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of professional experience with React.js and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web development frameworks.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in remote development teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
