Key Responsibilities

 

The R&D Senior Manager in EY’s business will be charged with helping clients identify, document, and support tax positions related to their R&D tax credits. The R&D Senior Manager will be a critical member of the R&D leadership team and will actively participate in the marketing and business development of the R&D practice, with an emphasis on growing the business. In addition, the R&D Senior Manager will develop and drive process improvement and team-building initiatives, maintain client relationships, and act as a source of guidance to other team members.

 

 To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • Master’s / PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields. 
  • Five or more years’ experience in R&D tax consulting required including working with clients and providing guidance on R&D tax credits.
  • Prior experience communicating with Revenue and experience of Revenue R&D tax credit audits.
  • Prior experience supervising tax consulting professionals and delegating work assignments as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on detail
  • Prove ability to grow a business
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to promote a positive team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of junior members on the team.
  • Ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements
